FOUNDER
I founded Summit Tutors as after 9 years in the industry, it was clear there was a real gap in the market for young, enthusiastic tutors with interests that lie both inside and outside the academic world, my aim was to show that learning can be far more interesting and relevant than many students believe. I have a 1st in Economics, having obtained 12 A*’s and A’s at GCSE and A*AA at A-level. I have tutored hundreds of students and pride myself on the rapport I build with them, and remain in touch with many families after their tutoring journey is over.
Outside tutoring, my main passions in life are sport and fitness. I love football, whether it is playing or watching Southampton FC, going to the gym, as well as hacking it round the golf course. Away from sport, I love reading economics or fantasy books, watching movies and playing video games on the PS5 and Switch!

As a tutor, I love helping students to find more confidence in themselves and translate their ideas into writing. I graduated from Oxford University with a first class degree in English Language and Literature, as well as a first in my MA in Classical Acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I obtained straight A*s/9s in my GCSEs and at A level I achieved A*A*A English Lit, Spanish and Music.
When I’m not acting or studying, I love playing sports, writing music and looking after my many plants! I played for the women’s rugby team at Oxford (and absolutely loved it) and I’m also a singer and harpist.

SCIENCE • TRIPLE SCIENCE (CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS)
I am currently a Molecular Biology student at the University of St Andrews. I have always loved science and achieved A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A Level as well as completing a psychology-based EPQ. I achieved eight 9s and two 8s at GCSE. I have chosen to specialise in Molecular Biology because I enjoy looking at why biological processes work, how and why they go wrong and trying to find solutions. My approach to learning and tutoring is similar. I have spent a long time breaking down exam papers and study techniques. This makes approaching content-heavy exams, such as Biology, a fun and interesting task. I enjoy using diagrams and past exam questions to help foster an interactive session that builds confidence.
Beyond my studies, I enjoy swimming and have held committee positions for university societies, with responsibility for organising large-scale events. I also enjoy going to music nights with my friends.

MATHS • ENTRANCE EXAM PREPARATION
For the last 3 years I have loved every tutoring session I’ve taken, especially because I get to talk about maths or economics in almost all of them. Hopefully my tutees feel the same. I’ve continued these passions at the University of Nottingham where I study Economics and am a member of the Finance Technology Society. Beforehand I attended King Edward’s VI School Southampton, earning all 9's and A*'s at GCSE and A*A*A at A level. My endeavour in tutoring is to make my sessions as enjoyable as my old Maths and Economics teachers managed to do for me.
In my spare time I enjoy being outside, either doing any type of water-sport or passing a rugby ball about with my mates. But if those aren't an option, I'm a big fan of throwing on a podcast and heading to the gym.

SCIENCE • TRIPLE SCIENCE (CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS)
I am currently a medical student studying at Anglia Ruskin University. I found a love for science throughout my time at school, achieving seven 9s and two 8s for GCSE and then, A*A*A at A-Level. I started my teaching journey with educating young people in my local community about first aid and other life skills which led me to want to support young people to achieve their academic goals as a science tutor!
Outside of academics, I am an avid reader and you will always find me with a new book! If I'm not reading or providing first aid in my community, you will probably see me learning to crochet (I have a way to go!), doing pilates or watching Brooklyn 99 and Grey's Anatomy with friends.

MATHS • ECONOMICS
I’d always look forward to my economics lessons at school as the teaching was engaging whilst having a balance of a friendly environment for discussion. I would love to share this experience with others, allowing students to feel more confident in their ability to solve economic and maths problems. I am currently studying Economics and Management at Bristol University having previous attended King Edward’s VI Southampton. I achieved three A*s, four 9s, two 8s, one 7 and A in GCSE’s, and at A level I gained A*AA in Economics Maths and Chemistry. I also received a chemistry and sports scholarship.
Aside from academics I really enjoy playing sports, having represented Hampshire and Dorset for Hockey and first team hockey and netball at school. Now I continue to enjoy playing competitively at uni. Spending time with my friends and going on adventures is what I love the most, and I was fortunate to travel SE Asia and Australia on my gap year!

MATHS • ECONOMICS
I’m an Economics student at the University of Nottingham having studied at King Edward VI School for secondary and sixth form, where I achieved 12 GCSEs at grade 9/A* and A*A*A*A at A level, including A*s in Maths, Economics and Spanish. I’m now a member of the Nottingham Economics and Finance Society Equity Fund and Global Economy group. I love to identify the difference in effective learning methods between students in order to tailor every tutee’s experience for the best possible results.
In my spare time I love to play football and rugby for my teams as well as watching a lot of it too! When I’m not involved in sport I love to play guitar and get outdoors to walk and surf, or just to chill out with my mates playing games and watching films.

CHEMISTRY
Having initially found Chemistry impossible, I have grown to really enjoy it, to the point that I am now studying it at the University of York. Previously, I was a student at King Edward VI School in Southampton, where I achieved 12 A*/9 Grades at GCSE and 3A*s at A-level. The unusual combination of Maths, Spanish and Chemistry allowed me to develop a genuine enthusiasm for each subject, something I would love to share with others.
Besides studying, I spend a lot of my free time watching rugby, be that on the sofa or in the stadium. When I’m back home, I’m quick to get on the PlayStation, but I also really enjoy playing the drums. And as much as I love being indoors, there is nothing better than kicking a ball around with my mates.

HISTORY • ENGLISH LANGUAGE • ENGLISH LITERATURE
I am really passionate about History and hope to use my love for studying the past to create a fun and friendly environment when tutoring, in order to build students confidence and encourage thoughtful engagement with the subject. I am currently studying History at the University of Bristol and by studying English Literature, Government and Politics and History at A level, achieving A*s and As, I have built a strong set of skills and knowledge to support students to achieve success. Outside of my History studies I am working at improving my Japanese with the help of lessons through the University and YouTube.
In my spare time I love being with my friends, cooking together and exploring Bristol especially. Along with playing the clarinet in an Orchestra and travelling, I love to read. Some of my recent recommendations are HomeGoing, A Little Life and The Kite Runner.

SCIENCE • TRIPLE SCIENCE (CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS)
As a current medical student at the University of Nottingham, I am lucky enough to pursue my childhood passion for science. This passion has evolved and developed through my fantastic network of teachers and the support I was given which means I recognise the importance of simplifying and enjoying complex scientific concepts. Achieving A*AA at A-level and 6 Grade 9s/ 3 Grade 8s at GCSE has enabled me to reach where I am today. I believe my previous experience of tutoring and working within multiple youth organisations has enabled me to create a confident and relaxed environment for students to excel.
Outside of my studies, I am a keen cricketer, powerlifter and novice squash player. I also lead and represent my medical school’s volleyball club. In addition to that, I love to hike in my spare time, having recently returned from a breathtaking trip to Madeira, whilst currently looking forward to completing the 3 peaks challenge this year.

MATHS • PHYSICS • CHEMISTRY
I am currently studying Chemistry at the University of Oxford, following a strong academic foundation built at King Edward VI School where I achieved all 9’s in my GCSEs. My love for sciences led me to A-level grades of A*A*A*A* in Maths, Chemistry and Physics and an EPQ on hydrogen fuel. Having been an academic scholar throughout my time at KES, I gained the position of Senior Scholar in my final year, through which I spread my passion for learning by organising extension study sessions for GCSE students.
I have always loved music, playing the piano from a young age and more recently achieving my Grade 8. I picked up baking in lockdown and also really enjoy reading. I’m an adventurous person, having been on an expedition to Tanzania where I planted banana trees at a local school and attempted to climb Mount Meru (we very nearly made it to the top!).

I absolutely love tutoring and find it very fulfilling, and this is primarily down to the enthusiasm I have for the subjects I teach, as well as my desire to help others. After going to Peter Symonds for Sixth Form and KES for secondary school, I achieved A*A*A*A* at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Chemistry, as well as straight 9s in GCSEs. I am now studying Economics at LSE.
Outside of the classroom, I’m always playing or watching football, whether it be 5-a-side on a Friday night or seeing Palace win the FA Cup at Wembley with my Dad. I am also passionate about music, and enjoy DJing house and garage, even doing so at a couple of parties before!

MATHS • ENTRANCE EXAM PREPARATION • HISTORY
Knowing the value a mentor can have throughout education makes tutoring incredibly rewarding for me. I had the privilege of being Head of School at King Edward VI School and achieved A*A*A in my A levels of Spanish, Maths and History, and now study History with Spanish at the University of Oxford. Appreciating the complex but fulfilling nature of solving maths problems drove me to tutor the subject, and an appreciation of the potential stresses around the entrance exam also compelled me to help others who find themselves in the position I did back when I took them!
Away from academics, I am an avid fan of almost all sports, and have played cricket and football for as long as I can remember. I also love a documentary or a true crime series, and will always try to find a concert or festival to see live music. Recently I have particularly enjoyed any opportunity to travel or practise my language skills, whenever I get the chance.

MATHS • ECONOMICS
I’m a Philosophy, Politics and Economics student at the University of Oxford. I achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 9/A* and A*A*A at A level, including A*s in Maths and Economics. At university, I’m part of economics and volunteering societies, which give me the chance to explore how theory connects to real-world issues. I really enjoy breaking down mathematical and economic ideas to their basics and helping others build real understanding instead of relying on rote learning.
In my spare time, I love weightlifting, cheerleading, and tumbling. I also enjoy thrifting and vintage shopping, finding hidden gems, and spending time with friends, whether that’s trying new cafés, watching films, or just relaxing together.

Maths • Further Maths
I am currently studying maths at the University of Warwick, having achieved 11 GCSEs including seven grade 9s and three 8s, followed by A*A*A*A at A level, in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I have often had teachers who explain the ‘why’ behind the maths I’ve learnt, which has developed an enthusiasm that I enjoy sharing with others, and I have found it fascinating to prove these aspects further at university.
Alongside my studies I love playing badminton, having played competitively for my college, as well as watching football and cricket, supporting my local teams in Southampton. I also enjoy playing both the clarinet and saxophone, and have joined the wind orchestra at Warwick. I have also been a member of Scouting for over 10 years, and have completed all three levels of the DofE award.

SCIENCE • TRIPLE SCIENCE (CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY AND PHYSICS)
I am a biochemistry student at the University of Bristol, fascinated by this subject for the uniquely satisfying insights it provides into how and why natural processes occur, as well as the exciting potential to manipulate these processes for the benefit of both humans and the environment. I project this enthusiasm in my tutor sessions, encouraging my students to think creatively about the broader implications of their course content and the interconnection between the different topics they learn about. I achieved A*A*A*A* at A level, and eleven grade 9s at GCSE. My approach to tutoring aims to make the commonly overwhelming amount of content in the A Level/GCSE course more concise, mark-scheme specific and enjoyable to learn.
Aside from academics, you will most likely find me outdoors: trail running, surfing, hiking or playing tennis for my university. I am always working on travel plans, be it to a new country or county and enjoy painting and cooking to relax.
